Our client, who is an Employee Owned Company (ESOP) and innovative consumer product goods manufacturer located in San Diego, CA is looking to fill a Systems Developer Direct Hire role for their team.  

Position Overview:

This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual who is deeply passionate about SQL development, eager to learn RFID technologies, gain manufacturing knowledge, and ready to tackle challenging projects. The role is open due to the previous developer's promotion to a management position, reflecting our client’s commitment to career development and internal promotion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a SQL Systems Developer with a strong background in the Microsoft Development stack, including Microsoft SQL Server and .Net.
• Proficient in managing and integrating ERP systems with Microsoft SQL databases, ensuring seamless data flow and optimized system performance.
• Knowledge of WinForms for RFID development activities
• Proficient with web development technologies, specifically ASP.net MVC, Jquery Mobile, and Angular JS (a plus).
• Work within Visual Studio environment and develop Winforms for a thick client system located on premise.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and familiarity with flow gear mechanisms such as Shopify to ERP integrations.

• Traditional client based software development and maintenance.

• Intranet site development and maintenance.

• Web based client side and server side development and maintenance.

• SQL database administration/maintenance.

• Works directly with other developers in an open exchange of information to ensure cross functional team development and success.

• Liaison with external teams to analyze business and technical requirements for each development project documenting requirements with a detailed Solution Design Spec.

Position Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science degree with 5 years proven experience in similar role
• Computer Skills: Excellent Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Programming experience with C# and Visual Studio 2005/2008. Web site design, ASP.NET and IIS Administration. Experience working in a .NET framework. SQL Server 2005 / 2008 administration experience.
  

Working Conditions:

• This is a hybrid remote position, allowing up to 2 days of remote work per week, with the remaining time spent at their San Diego, CA office.
