Senior Security Solutions Engineer

 

Our client, who is an innovative grocery chain based in Tyler, Texas is seeking an experienced Security Solutions Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a new role to lead the designing, building, documenting, supporting, and transferring knowledge on security solutions that meet regulatory, business continuity, and security scalable needs.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Understand, interpret, and apply security standards, frameworks, compliance requirements, and comprehensive architecture principles to recommend solutions.
  • Research, plan, design, and build solutions that will advance security, such as multi-factor authentication, password-less authentication, zero trust networking, cloud security architecture, PKI, authorization tokens, identity governance, and data automation.
  • Implement technical capabilities with application integrations to enhance security risk posture.
  • Build new APIs, services, and frameworks.
  • Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis.

You will need to be skilled with:

  • Advanced knowledge of application security provisioning and governance technologies, authentication protocols, cloud security services, LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), and domain structures.
  • Knack for analyzing complex technical information and learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Strong communicator in written and verbal form with capacity to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Aptitude to prepare reports and business correspondence with ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems show information in presentation or diagram form.
  • maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Availability to work on-call and flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and plan work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and four or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.

*Fully Remote position with quarterly meetings in Tyler, Texas
